What is Mushrooms?
It is a parasitic fungi-like plant. As they do not have chlorophyll or green cells, they cannot catch and eat prey, so they are dependent on others. They usually grow on rotting dung and rotting wood chips, hence they are called dead organisms.
The formation of umbrella-like aerial parts from the mycelium is called fructification and the aerial part is called the fruit body of Agaricus plant. They are also known as 'mushrooms'. Many times many mushrooms are seen in a circle in the lawn.
