Answers to some unknown questions about the Harry Potter series || Episode: 1

Beginning:

A generation of this world has grown up with fond memories of Harry Potter. The burning flame of Harry Potter still lives on in the piles of movies, series, and books. Harry Potter fans (Potterheads) have crossed the boundaries of imagination and roamed the Hogwarts grounds countless times, twirling their wands and chanting their favorite incantations, or eagerly using various potions. The number of people who wanted to fly in the sky by pressing their foreheads or flying a broom between their legs due to being muggles is not less. In books or movies, there are always questions left unanswered. Therefore, today's event is about answering those questions that have arisen in the public mind with the combination of various arguments and fan theories.

1) Which student was called to the Quidditch team from first year a century before Harry Potter?

As described in both the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone books and movies, Harry was called up to the Quidditch team during his first year. But according to Hogwarts tradition, there is no rule for first-year students to be included in the Quidditch team. On the other hand, Draco Malfoy, who is skilled at flying in the void with a broomstick, is not so lucky, he is only a first year student. Ron Weasley excitedly informed him that Harry had broken the rules, almost 100 years ago today, a student who had been on the first year Quidditch team. But who is the student who excelled at the age of 11?

Harry Potter entered Hogwarts in 1991. The year 1891 comes after 100 years from 1991. With the official Wizarding World website and fandom listing the entire timeline of the wizarding world, it's easy to know what happened in which year. Moving on from that source, in 1892 a wizard stepped onto the grounds of Hogwarts, whose reputation has been forever etched in the wizarding world. Born into a family of wizards, he learned flying techniques from an early age, along with other magical teachings. That student is none other than His Highness Albus Dumbledore, one of the greatest and wittiest wizards in the wizarding world.

When he entered Hogwarts in 1892, Quidditch rules for first-year students were not so strict. The one who could fly the best, was fit for the game, was selected for the team, whatever year he was. Later the rules were changed for various reasons. Because most of the first year students did not know how to fly well and they were more prone to accidents. But seeing Harry fly with a broomstick for the first time, Professor McGonagall was impressed. The Gryffindor team needed a good Seeker then. As Harry's father James Potter and Professor McGonagall were both skilled Quidditch players, he understood Harry's appreciation. As head of house, he discussed easing restrictions with Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore. Lulled by the nostalgia of the century, Harry was given a chance to join the Quidditch team.

2) Why didn't Voldemort turn Gryffindor's sword into a Horcrux?

Voldemort wanted to use all the famous things of the four founders at Hogwarts to break his soul into different horcruxes. Such as Salazar's Slytherin locket, Rowena Ravenclaw's crown, Helga Hufflepuff's cup, and Godric Gryffindor's sword. However, while he was able to turn the other three's items into horcruxes, he was not successful with Gryffindor.

The question is, did he not find this sword, or is it not possible to make this sword a Horcrux? Or does Gryffindor have nothing that Voldemort could transform into Horcruxes?

The answer is that there are two possibilities. The first was that he couldn't find the sword like the others' belongings. It wasn't even hidden in Dumbledore's room. As Albus himself had said, the sword of Gryffindor was always protected. It was for this reason that Voldemort dismissed the idea of turning the sword into a Horcrux. One of the hallmarks of the Gryffindor sword was that it was only revealed to a qualified and true Gryffindor (a student of House Gryffindor). Therefore, in Voldemort's opinion, if the sword was made into a Horcrux, it would have gone into the hands of any Gryffindor. Also since he was a Slytherin, there was no question that the Gryffindor sword would be exposed to him.

The second possibility is that he did not know about this sword. Harry Potter himself learned about this sword after asking the Sorting Hat for help. After killing the basilisk with it, he learned the details of this sword from Albus Dumbledore. So, either Voldemort didn't know about this sword, or even if he did, he never stole it.

3) How did Fred and George use the Marauders map?

The Weasley twins, Fred Weasley and George Weasley, had a collection of all sorts of magical things. Not to mention the Marauders map. As for this map of magic, they stole it from the room of Argus Filch, the caretaker of Hogwarts. At first glance, they understood that this was no ordinary map. There is some secret hidden in it. This map was created by four famous Hogwarts students; James Potter, Remus Lupine, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew. They were known as Marauders.

Filch had confiscated this map from them in their seventh year when they were at the very end of their studies at Hogwarts. Since this map contained all the hidden and known streets of Hogwarts, and the locations of all were known through this map, the Marauders may have intentionally given this map to Filch. Because, they wanted some inquisitive and mysterious student like them to come and break the secret of this map and use it properly.

After stealing the map from Filch, Fred and George's main task is to somehow activate it and reveal its secrets. The map itself helped them in this task. Because Fred and George were in many ways similar to James-Sirius in behavior. They applied all kinds of magic to it, so that the map would tell itself how to open it. And all this again they learned the method of disappearance in this process. Now the question is, after Harry was caught by Severus with the map, why did all the strange writing appear when Severus applied magic to the map? The answer is that Severus was a student of the same batch of Marauders. And with Severus they had a hell of a relationship. Severus was always teased by the four of them. This is how they enchanted the map when it was made, so that if it somehow fell into Severus' hands, the map would show him these writings. Besides, to the rest, this map was just a piece of paper.

4) How did muggle-borns convert the currency of the muggle world to the currency of the wizarding world?

Muggle-born refers to wizards whose parents are non-magical commoners, but are born with magical powers themselves. Our well-known Hermione Granger or Lily Potter was also Muggle-born. So the question is, how did Muggle-Borns convert the currency of the Muggle world into the currency of the Wizarding World when they entered Hogwarts?

Money from the Muggle world was exchanged at Gringotts Wizarding Bank. All banking transactions of the wizarding society of Britain were done in this bank. In the second book of the Harry Potter franchise, Hermione's parents exchanged their Muggle world pounds for Wizarding World currency. There are three types of currency systems in use in the Wizarding World. These are the gold colored 'Galleon', the silver colored 'Sickle', and the copper colored 'Nut'.

As a number,

1 Galleon = 17 Shekels.

1 sickle = 29 knots.

1 Galleon = 493 knots.

1 Gallon = 4.93 pounds.

1 sickle = 0.29 pounds.

1 nut = 0.01 lb.

1 pound is currently equal to 132 taka in Bangladeshi taka. So, the price of 1 Nut of Wizarding World is 1.32 Taka in Bangladeshi Taka, 1 Sickle is 38.39 Taka and 1 Galleon is 652.55 Taka.

5) How did Harry-Ron enter the wizarding world from the muggle world after not catching the train on time?

Harry Potter and Ron Weasley missed the Hogwarts Express during their second year. They later arrived at Hogwarts using Ron's father's flying car. The question is, how did they change the portal from the muggle world to the wizarding world? The answer is, they haven't changed any portal. Platform ten at Kingscross Station was a platform that had been covered with magic centuries ago to prevent muggles from seeing it.

The Hogwarts Express departs from this platform only once a year, on September 1st. This Hogwarts Express, however, runs through the common grounds, bridges, fields, and hills of the Muggle world. Its destination is not Hogwarts, the train stops at Hogsmeade. After arriving at Hogsmeade, the first years accompanied Hagrid by boat across the Great Lake, while the rest arrived at Hogwarts by car. Again, Hogwarts is not located in a magical world, it is located on an island in the common world of Scotland, most of which is covered in dense forest.

Hogwarts is shrouded in a cloak of security with numerous secret charms and spells, so that muggles don't even know they exist. So here they didn't have to change any portal to go from the muggle world to the wizarding world. Harry and Ron managed to get to Hogwarts by flying the car and finding the Hogwarts Express.
