Nishiyama Onsen Kyonkan: The oldest hotel in the world

The Oldest Hotel In The World

Beginning:

In the past world there was no need for hotels. Emperors, rich kings and rich zamindars built chic, well-furnished Panthashalas for travelers and travelers from far and wide. Those people used to accept hospitality in these Panthshalas for a safe night stay. As per the instructions of the authorities, some Panthshalas were also supplying delicious food. Hungry travelers used to take these meals for free.

The reign of these once rich royal families has disappeared in the silent flow of time. Through the spiral of time there has been a change in the customs they have created. As a result, the stories of these panthshalas have also been lost in the abyss of time.

On the contrary, all elite hotels have emerged as alternatives to Bin Paisa panthshalas. It is still unknown when and where the world's first hotel was built. However, the oldest hotel still stands tall in the thrilling pages of history. The name of this hotel located in Japan is Nishiyama Onsen Kyonkan.

In 705, Fujiwara Mahito was the only child of a close associate of Emperor Tenji of Japan. He also had free access to the royal court with his father. One day, he saw some travelers resting in the panthsala, focusing on nature's drink and talking very happily. It seems as if all the happiness in the world has filled their hearts at this moment. Mahito's artistic sail of thought began to fly. He thought, how about building such a panthshala covered with green and red near Mount Fuji for travelers?

One day he discussed it with his father. Once the consent of the father was obtained, the permission of the emperor was also taken. After a few days, a charming little inn was built there. As he thought, the traffic of tourists who were fascinated by the beauty of nature continued to increase in this hotel. Gradually, the wealthy elite of Japan, even the emperor, began to fall here. In this way, the small hotel once became a popular place.

As time goes on, the story of the reign of the Japanese royal family continues in the water of innovation. Yet the Nishiyama Onsen Kyonkan Hotel lives on in glory. The beautiful river running along one side of this hotel, which was established in the Qian period, has increased the charm of the hotel several times. On the other hand, the towering mountains, dense forests and wild bushes change their charming appearance with different seasons. The eyes and hearts of the tourists coming to the hotel are scorched by the rays of rich colors.

Suddenly one day the hotel's builder, Fujiwara Mahito, raised his hand and crossed over to the world of the dead at the call of cruel truth. As a result, the next generation is the leader of the hotel according to nature's rules. Since then, the management of the hotel has changed hands for about 52 generations. In this way, the management work of this traditional hotel is still going on. After taking over the responsibility of the hotel in the hands of the new ones, the renovation has been done several times.

The last time the hotel was renovated was in 1997. At that time, several facilities were added in a new form. For example, the hotel's hot spring bath, meditation room, guest walking and sitting areas are given a touch of modernity. However, most of the spaces are still kept in the same shape as the predecessors.

In 2011, this hotel, which was built about 1318 years ago, was placed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest hotel in the world. Tourists still come to this historical hotel for leisure and entertainment, to spend the night in exciting rooms. The hotel also invites tourists to drink its beauty as before, equally. Will you go to this ancient hotel in the world?
